Korean Apartment Listing Decoder: What 500/60, 관리비 & 전용면적 Mean

Paste or enter one structured Korean apartment-listing term or shorthand at a time.

This decoder explains what it most likely means, normalizes the amount or area when the unit is supported, shows how confident that interpretation is, and tells you what to verify next.

Important: This is not a contract checker, fraud-risk tool, or full free-form listing parser. If the copied text does not include enough unit or context information, the decoder shows that uncertainty instead of guessing.

What does 500/60 mean?

The same two-value monthly-rent pair may appear as 500/60, 500 / 60, 500 60, 500,60, or 500, 60.

Recognizing the pair does not confirm its unit. Bare pairs keep Unit confidence: Uncertain. Do not silently assume 만원.

Why commas need an ambiguity check

A comma may separate a rent pair, but it may also be a thousands separator. 500,60 can be recognized as a pair because it is not valid thousands grouping. 1,000 is a single thousands-formatted number.

Ambiguous forms such as 500,600, 1,000,75, and 10,000,60 are not forced into a monthly-rent pair.

Management fee labels

A management-fee amount does not tell you which utilities or services are included. 관리비 없음 does not mean electricity, gas, water, internet, or parking are all free. 관리비 포함 also does not mean every utility is included.

Area labels: 전용, 공급, 계약

전용 is exclusive-use area. 공급 is a larger supply/gross-area field. 계약 is a broader contract/gross-area field. Keep these area types separate.

1 m² = 0.3025 pyeong. 1 pyeong ≈ 3.305785 m². The unit alone does not tell you whether the number is exclusive, supply, or contract area.

Floor notation

2/5층 means the unit is on the 2nd floor of a 5-floor building. B1/3층 preserves basement-level notation. Labels such as 중층 and 고층 are relative categories and do not reveal the exact current floor.

Common listing conditions

Terms such as 즉시입주, 풀옵션, 주차 가능, 엘리베이터 있음, and 반려동물 가능 describe advertised conditions. They do not automatically establish detailed contract terms or guarantees.

What if two listing fields conflict?

Do not automatically reconcile contradictory fields. If a structured field and free text disagree, verify the current information with the agent or landlord.

Unsupported in V1

Inputs with more than two amount tokens, ambiguous comma grouping, a single bare number, or an entire multi-field listing paragraph are not automatically normalized.

Examples include 500/60/8, 500 60 8, 500,600, 1,000,75, 10,000,60, and a whole listing paragraph.

What this decoder does not do

This tool does not determine contract validity, deposit safety, jeonse-fraud risk, liens, landlord reliability, market-price fairness, guarantee-insurance eligibility, brokerage fees, or missing units from bare numbers.

Its job is narrower: raw shorthand → normalized meaning → full amount when supported → uncertainty → verify next.
