Enter the Korean tracking status exactly as shown, then choose the carrier if you know it.
This decoder explains the original Korean label, its plain-English meaning, the common delivery stage, what the status usually means, what it does not prove, and what to check next.
Parcel status decoder
Match strength
- Supported exact label
- Known alias / equivalent wording
- Provider-specific wording
- Weak / possible match
- Unsupported / unknown
Keep the original Korean label visible. Do not silently replace one carrier’s wording with another carrier’s term.
Quick lookup: common CJ / CJ-linked labels
집화처리
English meaning: Pickup processed
Common stage: Accepted / pickup
What it usually means:
A pickup or collection event has been recorded in the CJ-linked tracking flow.
What it does NOT prove:
- that the parcel has left a hub
- that the parcel will arrive on a specific date
Next check:
Look at the next scan, location, and timestamp.
간선상차
English meaning: Loaded for line-haul
Common stage: Hub / line-haul transit
What it usually means:
The parcel was loaded onto a trunk or line-haul movement from a terminal or hub.
What it does NOT prove:
- that it is on the local delivery van
- that it will arrive tomorrow
- that it has reached the destination area
Next check:
Look for the next terminal or hub event rather than estimating arrival time.
간선하차
English meaning: Unloaded from line-haul
Common stage: Hub / line-haul transit
What it usually means:
The parcel was unloaded at a hub or terminal for the next processing step.
What it does NOT prove:
- that this is the final destination terminal
- that local delivery has started
Next check:
Check the location and the following scan.
배송출발
English meaning: Out for delivery
Common stage: Out for delivery
What it usually means:
The local delivery run has started.
What it does NOT prove:
- exact arrival time
- guaranteed same-day delivery
Next check:
Check the latest tracking detail and carrier notice if timing matters.
배송완료
English meaning: Delivery complete
Common stage: Delivered
What it usually means:
The carrier tracking system records delivery completion.
What it does NOT prove:
- the exact delivery location
- the exact recipient
- that the intended person physically received it
Next check:
If you do not have the parcel, check the completion detail, timestamp, location, recipient field if shown, and then use official carrier support.
Hanjin: official current step labels
| Korean label | English meaning | Common stage | Safe interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 업체상품 준비중 | Seller preparing item | Pre-handover | Shipment information exists, but carrier possession is not yet proven |
| 상품접수 | Item accepted | Accepted / pickup | Hanjin has recorded parcel acceptance |
| 터미널입고 | Terminal intake | Hub / line-haul transit | Parcel has entered a terminal |
| 상품이동중 | Item in transit | Hub / line-haul transit | Parcel is moving between logistics nodes |
| 배송터미널도착 | Delivery terminal arrival | Destination-area preparation | Parcel has reached the delivery-terminal stage |
| 배송출발 | Out for delivery | Out for delivery | Local delivery has started |
| 배송완료 | Delivery complete | Delivered | Hanjin records the shipment as delivered |
Repeated status scans can be normal.
For example, the same 배송출발 status can appear more than once in current Hanjin tracking output. A repeated label by itself is not proof of an error or lost parcel.
Korea Post: do not translate every transit label as 배송출발
| Korean label | English meaning | Common stage | Safe interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 운송장출력 | Label / waybill printed | Pre-handover | Tracking information exists; physical handover is not yet proven |
| 인수완료 | Accepted / received | Accepted / pickup | Postal/logistics network has recorded acceptance |
| 집하완료 | Pickup completed | Accepted / pickup | Collection is recorded |
| 접수 | Accepted / posted | Accepted / pickup | Item has been formally accepted at a postal facility |
| 발송 | Dispatched from facility | Hub / line-haul transit | Parcel left one postal facility; this can repeat |
| 도착 | Arrived at facility | Hub / local processing | Parcel reached a postal/logistics facility |
| 배달준비 | Preparing for delivery | Destination-area preparation | Local delivery preparation |
| 배달완료 | Delivery complete | Delivered | Postal tracking records delivery completion |
| 미배달 | Not delivered | Exception | Read the detailed provider reason and location before drawing conclusions |
Important non-alias rules
Do not treat these as exact synonyms:
- 집화처리 ≠ 집하완료 ≠ 상품접수 ≠ 접수
- 간선상차 ≠ 배송출발
- 간선하차 ≠ final destination arrival
- 상품이동중 ≠ exact synonym for 간선상차 or 간선하차
- Korea Post 발송 ≠ 배송출발
- Korea Post 배달준비 ≠ 배송출발
배송완료 and 배달완료 can share the common stage Delivered, but the provider’s original Korean wording should remain visible.
A tracking number does not prove the carrier has the parcel
A shipment can appear in tracking before physical handover is confirmed.
Examples include:
- Hanjin 업체상품 준비중
- label / waybill creation or preparation states
Read this as:
Pre-handover / label created
It means shipment information exists or the seller is preparing the parcel.
It does not prove the carrier physically has the parcel yet.
What if the same status appears more than once?
Do not assume repeated scans mean a system error.
A parcel can move through multiple logistics nodes, and a provider may record the same stage more than once.
Before treating repetition as a problem, check:
- timestamp
- location
- previous scan
- next scan
- provider detail
Repeated status alone is not proof of delay, loss, or failed delivery.
What if tracking says delivered but I do not have the parcel?
Treat 배송완료 or 배달완료 as a carrier-recorded completion status.
Then check:
- delivery-completion detail
- timestamp
- location
- recipient or delivery-result field if shown
- official carrier support
Do not conclude theft, loss, or wrong delivery from the status label alone.
What if the status says 미배달, 배송실패, 보류, 반송, or 반품?
Do not merge all exception or return labels into one fixed cause.
For an exception status:
- preserve the original Korean label
- read the provider’s detailed reason if shown
- check timestamp and current location
- check the previous and next scan
- use the provider’s official support if the reason is still unclear
One exception scan does not prove the parcel is lost.
Provider support in V1
Strong label support
- Hanjin
- Korea Post
Source-bounded common-label support
- CJ Logistics / CJ-linked tracking output
Official action only
- Lotte Global Logistics
For Lotte, use the official tracking or support path until a stable, source-mapped exact-label inventory is available.
Do not guess missing Lotte status meanings.
What this decoder does not do
This decoder does not:
- collect tracking numbers
- act as a proxy tracking service
- predict ETA
- say “today guaranteed”
- say “tomorrow guaranteed”
- estimate hours remaining
- calculate loss probability
- score delays
- guess unsupported carrier labels
- treat repeated scans as errors
- treat one exception scan as proof of loss
Its job is narrower: Korean original label → provider context → English meaning → common stage → what it does NOT prove → next check → official carrier action.
